nidwerf
Once upon a time I in 1986 I was typing a letter and stopped,
hesitating over what insulting epithet to assign to the object of my
derision. I went into the kitchen for a drink of water, and left the
electronic typewriter on with my previously nonliterate Manx cats
sitting in their windowbasket next to it. When I returned, I found that
they had somehow, in the interim, entered in the word nidwerf on
the keyboard. I looked at them, and got the clear impression that
they decided to teach me what cats call dogs behind their backs.
