1. (n) A pointless journey. 2. (v) To embark upon a pointless and seemingly
impossible journey on a 'shoestring budget. Or to undertake a travel-
orientated task with certain objectives in mind with little or no money or
supplies. Journey by public transport only. A mish is a long and pointless
journey to a far away and pointless destination by public transport (normally
bus) however, local trains can be used under the following conditions; 1) If
the last public bus has already left; 2) If the mishers do not stay on the train
for more than 30 minutes; 3) If the train is part of a local service and is as
cheap as possible. ('Bunking' trains does not count as a breach of rules.)
