hakapu

A slang term for programming which is improperly planned or
badly constructed.

Hakapu is a slang term for poor code which originated in
South West England at the beginning of the Century.
<p>
Generally used to describe situations where a specification
(spec) has been changed during programming or a programmer
has dived straight into code without planning properly,
hakapu also covers situations where a wysiwyg editor has
been used to produce poor quality HTML, or the programmer
simply uses outdated or inefficient methods rather than
learn new ones.
